A Time For Everything -Ecclesiastes 3:1-14

Dear Survivor,

Happy New year to you. Trust you are doing great.

I just wanted to quickly share with you what I found in my hair around 1:30am on the 3rd of January, 2018. And what it has to teach about life.

As a work-at-home mum, I get  most things done while my kids are sleeping-usually at night. I am a mum of three, including my husband, I have four babies to look after for goodness sake.😀

I  looked in the mirror and realised my beautiful cornrow is old enough to take out. As I was taking it out, my attention was drawn to something shining in my hair- it was a white hair! I looked again to be A-sure of what I have just seen. ‘Ready or not, here we come,…’ I saw two new white strands at the same time; equal to three white strands of hair in my black afro! Initially, I thought my eyes were deceiving me. And I was like, wait a minute,…are you kidding me?!… I am sincrerly not interested to hunt for more. I am done with it- so done with it. 🙈

The moment I saw the three white fairy angels in my hair,  I was confused and guilty at the same time. Why?…the truth finally dawned on me; time is not on my side, and I am not getting any younger; there is no time to spare.😢

Time they say, waits for no man. Truth be told: Many people are enjoying now to pay the price later because, they have failed to set their priorities straight. There is more to life than that; don’t be like them; don’t  loose focus. Life is too short to waste your precious time on unnecessary things.  Do what you can now while you still have the opportunity and energy to get it done.

“Tick, says the clock, tick, tick, What you have to do, do quick, Tick, says the clock, Tick, says the clock, tick, tick, What you have to do, do quick.”⏰⏱⏲

My dear survivor, are you  ready to be back on track? If yes, please raise your hand and say after me:🤚

I take back control of my day, I am minimizing distractions while I am getting  important things done, I choose to stay focus and set my priorities straight. I am working in my purpose. So, help me God (amen).

Good job! You are great.🤝😊
